Shahla was born in Abadan in southern Iran and with her parents and five sisters have spent her childhood, adolescence, and youth in the different cities of Tabriz, Ahvaz, Masjed-Soleiman, and Qazvin, where she treasures her invaluable diverse cultural and educational learnings from different cities.

She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Management from Tehran University, Iran, and at Kashmir University in India is where she completed her Master’s Degree in Child Education.

Shahla’s primary purpose is a life of service, is the promotion of “World Peace ”, the “Betterment of the World ”, through community building process. Choosing jobs such as Employment Officer (to help people to find jobs), Administrator, Interpreter and translator (in different languages to aid the immigrants and refugees) and more lately counselling and healing is a testimony to this life commitment. Choosing to live in Africa and India rendering years of various voluntary services is another testimony.

From a young age, she was interested in poetry and writing poetry and articles, and had earned many awards at competitions for her recitations, declamations, writing and directing the Plays at schools and colleges. Now she lives in the city of Adelaide, and is working as a “healer” and energy therapist.

Gardens, flowers and especially the Jasmine flowers, and blossoms, give life to Shahla. Cold does not match her nature, but the spring weather goes more with her poetic spirit.

She has composed more than thousand pieces of poetry on a very diverse and wide range of topics, and when we asked her what motivated her to write on so many different topics … she answered: “to translate my inner feelings, into the words on these pages; I wanted to be the voice of all those people who shared their pains with me, through these words and pages. Thinking that I could even for a moment be the cause of their joy or tranquility delights me.

Shahla is a great speaker and presenter, she is also very humorous, she prefers to be with friends and people, having meaningful conversations, and having time to spend coffee or mocha with friends will definitely make her happy. She has composed many music for the poems, though she says she doesn’t have any specific knowledge of the music, and doesn’t know the alphabet of music, but it just comes, she thinks it’s just because she loves music.

She loves bread, and any kind of hot bread will attract her admiration.

About God she always jokingly says: “To prove the existence of God, one salad bowl is enough, because the beauty of nature with its colours and fragrances is gathered in that one bowl”!
